The election, the 24 hour news cycle, hyper-surveillance in the name of consumerism, the political machine that stoke fears to keep power away from the people, the reckless tech and media moguls that perpetuate the evils of capitalism. But it is not completely hopeless.

Question everything, consume less, VOTE!

we started recording 11 songs in early 2020. we had finally gotten back to 100% health after some nagging injuries within the band, a few side projects explored, and about a year of not playing together. a bunch of new songs were ready to go.

but of course we all know what happened. the rate of de-evolution has increased and our collective focus as a civilization is required in order to slow our political, planetary, and humanitarian structures from crumbling until our emotional and technological maturity is prepared to take us "beyond". this is not ideal, but fine. except that as four humans that enjoy eachother's company and the music that we share, we had to keep going on this album. if a record is made during a pandemic and no one hears it, i think it still makes a sound.
